This book disappointed me. I was hoping for a guide that would offer some information on the birds, but this only shows a small drawing with the name of the bird beneath it. Also, it does not include birds of prey. We have hawks in our neighborhood and were hoping to look them up.
Gave this to my husband. He is always asking me what kind of bird is at the feeder. Now he can look it up and tell me what it is! We didn't even know we had so many different birds until we got this book and started paying attention to the variety.
Did not have good selection of birds. Many birds not shown. Very disappointed.
Very small pocket size guide. Lots of pictures of birds, but few details about the birds themselves. Buy a bigger bird book if you really want to know in depth details about various birds.
This is a quick easy guide for a beginner bird watcher.
Good for a starter book.
